Description

Smash A Guitar is a Mead with a thick, jammy texture, built on a blend of rapeseed and heather honey. The taste is heavily fruit-forward, led by honey, blueberries, raspberries and blackcurrants.

The recipe uses quince and blue honeysuckle, which introduce distinct floral notes to the mix. The 9.5% ABV brings a slight warming effect as you drink it. The body is sticky and heavy, while the finish ends on a mineral note that slightly cuts through the initial sweetness.

Mead Scientist is a meadery located in Budapest, Hungary, and is a constant presence on the craft scene. This specific release was brewed together with Pohjala, a microbrewery from Tallinn, Estonia, for the 2025 Budapest Beer Week.
