Description

Double Double Chokehold is a Belgian Quadrupel that delivers a high 12% ABV and a distinct dried fruit character. The main notes of raisins and fig are directly supported by the authentic candi sugar and fig puree used in the brewing process.

The taste continues with caramelized dates, a mild nuttiness, and subtle hints of dark bread, all influenced by the traditional Belgian yeast. Oat flakes slightly alter the texture, while the finish leaves behind an obvious alcoholic warmth and lingering toffee accents.

This release is a collaboration with the Danish brewpub GAMBORG Brewing Co. Hop Hooligans is a microbrewery from Bucharest, Romania, focused on highly flavorful and intense beers. Currently, it is one of the most widely distributed breweries on the craft beer scene.
