Description

Saison: Pinot Gris BA is a Farmhouse Ale brewed by Oriel, a nano brewery based in Bucharest, Romania. The beer leads with aromas of fresh grapes, peaches, and ripe fruits, complemented by a subtle sweetness.

Aged for 15 months in oak casks previously holding sweet Pinot Gris wine from Transylvania, it absorbs soft vanilla and woody accents. The grain bill of barley, rye, spelt, and barley flakes combined with Belgian Saison yeast brings a light spicy character to the profile.

If you enjoy wine-barrel aged beers with a balance of fruity and oak-derived qualities, this release fits that preference well. It can be poured clear or with the yeast poured into the glass for added body.
