Description

Coliva Collective is an Imperial Stout that centers its character on walnut, sesame oil, and vanilla. With an ABV of 10.5%, it presents a substantial dark profile built on a malt bill containing wheat and oat malts alongside candi sugar.

The aroma leads with pronounced nutty tones, followed by the specific earthy warmth of sesame and sweetness from vanilla. Wheat flakes give the beer a fuller body, while the high alcohol content carries the flavours through to a lingering, rich finish.

This beer is a collaboration between Mad Scientist and Romanian craft brewery Blackout from Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Established in 2016 in Budapest, Hungary, Mad Scientist has grown into one of the most widely distributed breweries on the craft beer scene.
