Description

Barista Series #5: Coffee & Coconut is an Imperial Stout leaning heavily into the pastry side of the style. The primary aromas are defined by coffee and coconut, resting on a dark base beer that provides prominent chocolate characteristics.

The recipe features Brazil Daterra single-origin coffee sourced from Good Life Coffee. The roasted, slightly bitter edge of the beans is mellowed out by the coconut additions. At 10% ABV, it carries a thick texture, typical for such a high-gravity stout, keeping the flavors present well into the finish.
