Brewery from Romania ZMushy
Bucharest, Romania
ZMushy makes craft beer in Bucharest, Romania. Their approach clearly rejects the idea of minimalism in favour of loaded recipes. Where a large part of the market prefers things as simple and clean as possible, they choose to intentionally complicate things. That is how any craft beer from ZMushy ends up with a character completely opposed to classic beers.
Regarding their setup, they brew under contract. This means the recipes are entirely theirs, but the physical production takes place at another brewery, according to their exact specifications. This working model allows them to focus strictly on building the recipes.
What they call an assumed chaos translates into beers that break the mould. They do not seek to replicate historical styles in their basic form. Every batch follows a completely different direction from style norms, made for those looking for exactly that messy character that other breweries try to avoid.
ZMushy beers are available on Brizzly, with fast delivery across Romania. In Bucharest we deliver them ourselves, the same day, so they usually arrive still cold.
